How does Wegovy work?
Wegovy contains the active substance semaglutide, which mimics GLP-1 receptors in the brain. This helps with feelings of satiety, reducing your appetite and helping you to feel fuller for longer. As a result of this, patients often end up consuming less calories and therefore lose weight. In clinical trials, patients using Wegovy saw an average reduction in body weight of 15%.
How to Use Wegovy
Wegovy pens should be injected once a week, usually into the stomach, thigh, or upper arm. Your GP, pharmacist or online pharmacist here at Click2Pharmacy will provide you with detailed instructions on how to use the medication and monitor your progress overtime.
